Neal’s Yard Remedies
As well as working as a professional Homeopath from my home in South Shropshire and online, I offer the Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic range of products to support you in looking after your skin and wellbeing.
As a homeopath I promote natural health and well-being in a holistic way, and I think organic Neal’s Yard products are the perfect match for gentle all-around self-care. I keep a small selection of products in my consulting room for clients to choose from, and I occasionally suggest a specific product if I feel it will be beneficial. I also offer 1:1 skincare consultations.

What do I like about Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic?
I like the natural and high percentage of organic ingredients in their products, and the fact that it is not just skincare and bodycare, but the promotion of all-round health and wellbeing, including essential oils, supplements, herbal teas and more. This fits in well with the holistic nature of my homeopathic work.
I often say to clients that the food and drink they consume as well as the products they put on their skin can be very relevant to their overall health. Our skin is our biggest organ and anything applied to it travels through and may affect us internally, provoking symptoms.
Did you know Neal's Yard Remedies campaign in support of bees? In fact, we have a popular range called Bee Lovely from which a percentage goes to charities working in this area.
I hold relaxed workshops both at home, and in clients' homes, sharing samples, and affirming the importance of looking after ourselves. It is good for us to be mindful and allow time for some self-care to benefit our mental health and encourage relaxation.
Below you can read about some of my own favourite Neal’s Yard products that I use regularly for both skincare and relaxation.
Which are my favourite Neal’s Yard products of the moment?
WILD ROSE DAY CREAM and ORGANIC ROSEHIP OIL
Caring for my face…
I just love the Wild Rose collection- other fragrances are available! And though I have a soft spot for the Frankincense Intense Age Defying moisturiser too, this Wild Rose Glow Day cream is my go to, every morning moisturiser. It is light and lovely to use, blending in easily with a gentle rose fragrance. I find all NY creams seem to last several months, a little is always enough when applying to your face.
If the weather is colder, drier, or I just feel my skin is a little on the dry side, I add in a few drops of the rosehip oil before or after I use my moisturiser. You can also blend a few drops of oil into a little day cream on the back of your hand and apply them as one. Sometimes I use the rosehip oil at bedtime, and always notice my skin is more hydrated the following morning.
SEAWEED and ARNICA BATH SALTS and SEAWEED and ARNICA FOAMING BATH
How do you relax?
I love a bath, especially in the colder months, and my favourite additions are the restorative bath salts which are great for relaxing and revitalising tired aching bodies at the end of a day’s work. I often add a small glug of foaming bath for a luxurious feel. I appreciate its special fragrance and the fact it is full of good minerals and essential oils such as lavender, juniper and lemon. My skin always feels soft and hydrated after using these two gorgeous products, and I invariably feel more relaxed and ready for sleep after using them in a bath at bedtime.
Friends I know use this combination after sport or exercising or a long day in the garden.
PUMICE FOOT SCRUB and COMFREY and MALLOW FOOT BALM
How are you at looking after your feet?
I particularly like these two little pots of wonder for caring for mine. I am much better at remembering foot care in the summer in bare toes season, but equally during the winter it is good to feel that my feet are comfortable in my boots.
I find the pumice scrub is easy to use to soften the hard skin on my feet, and elbows, knees and other areas of rough skin. Applying the light and fresh Comfrey and Mallow balm afterwards is soothing and refreshingly cool.
Anytime I am feeling particularly tired, a foot soak followed by a layer of balm has a great revitalising effect.
So I wonder which will become your favourites?

My friends and I enjoyed a fantastic evening with Anne-Marie when I hosted a Neal’s Yard Winter Skincare workshop. Anne-Marie’s passion and knowledge about the products was very apparent as she took us through the range of products on offer, with lots of samples to try throughout the evening. She put us all at ease straight away with her gentle and professional manner. I would highly recommend booking a Neal’s Yard event with this lovely lady. - Testimonial
